Gender-sensitive peacebuilding and encourage women’s participation in decision-making processes.

Today/4/26/2023/, the FBCO’s women’s peacebuilding and conflict resolution training continued in Hara City Administration. The training aims to equip women with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively prevent and resolve conflicts in their communities. Participants are engaging in interactive sessions on conflict analysis, mediation, negotiation, and peacebuilding strategies. The training is part of the FBCO’s efforts to promote gender-sensitive peacebuilding and encourage women’s participation in decision-making processes.

The training was attended by around 80 participants from various women’s forums, Religious leaders, Civil Society representatives, Academicians, and Communities Leaders.

Mr. Beruk Gemechu Executive Director of FBCO expressed his gratitude towards the CSSP2, donors, Hara city administration, participants, organizers, and trainers who have been instrumental in making this project a success.
